Relocate the emergency brake cable.

The emergency brake cable runs along the driver's side of the vehicle between the frame and gas tank. Remove the bracket (yellow arrow) that holds the cable in place and reposition it upside down.
This will lower the emergency brake cable about 4".
IMPORTANT: The brake lines are not complete. There are a few more things you'll need to do to finish them, but because of the way Fabtech's instructions are we'll need to proceed to the next few steps, then come back to the brake lines after the lift blocks have been installed (in five more steps). You can skip ahead to Step 48 if you'd like to see what you'll eventually be doing with the brake lines, but remember to come back here to Step 42 before continuing with the rest of the lift.
