Attach the steering coupler to the rack and pinion assembly.

Attach the Steering Coupler to the Rack

Use the supplied 5/16" x 2" bolts, nuts, and washers. If the steering coupler makes contact with the frame, then you will need to clearance the frame for it to fit. This picture shows the general area that contact may occur. My steering coupler had about 1/8" - 3/16" space between the frame. Lucky me, I didn't have to cut anything.

Once the steering coupler is attached, tighten the clinch bolt.

Torque the control arm bolts and the crossmember bolts to 96 foot pounds.

Torque the two upward facing bolts in the front crossmember to 70 foot pounds.

Torque the front differential bolts to 80 foot pounds.
